As they continue their digital transformation and expand into new markets, they are seeking a visionary IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security Manager to enhance their IT ecosystem, ensure robust cybersecurity measures, and support their ambitious growth plans.

The Role:

This pivotal position offers the chance to lead and shape the IT infrastructure and security landscape of a dynamic retail organisation. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver world-class solutions that support operational excellence and drive innovation across their business divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Operations Leadership: Oversee the daily management of IT systems, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure operations.
• Strategic Development: Design and implement infrastructure strategies to support growth across retail, training, and grocery arms, enabling seamless integration across channels.
• Cybersecurity Leadership: Drive the adoption of advanced threat detection technologies, enforce cybersecurity policies, and maintain compliance with standards like PCI, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage knowledge in AWS, Cisco Meraki, Microsoft technologies, and tools such as Sophos and Darktrace to deliver robust IT solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leaders, present security updates, and align IT strategies with business goals.
• Vendor Management: Build strong relationships with third-party providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.

About You:

• Cyber security Innovator: Passionate about AI in cyber defence, you bring the expertise to enhance detection and response systems.
• Compliance Champion: Experienced in achieving and maintaining Cyber Essentials and CE+ certifications, with a commitment to high operational standards.
• Technical Authority: Skilled in triaging network incidents, leading network transformation programmes, and implementing the latest infrastructure technologies.
• AWS: Your deep understanding of Amazon Web Services ensures optimal cloud performance.
• Collaborative Leader: Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, you translate complex technical issues into actionable strategies.

Skills & Experience:

Proven leadership in IT operations and security management.
Expertise in AWS, scripting (e.g., PowerShell), and network tools like Cisco Meraki.
Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies such as Sophos and Darktrace.
Knowledge of backup solutions, incident management, and regulatory compliance (PCI, GDPR, CE+).
