You will provide engaging, interactive, and inclusive sessions, designed to build essential digital skills for work and everyday life. Your contributions will play a key role in helping individuals gain confidence and skills that will improve their social and professional lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and tutorials aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Assess learners' abilities, identify areas for improvement, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Provide individual support to learners, offering one-on-one sessions when necessary.
• Track learner progress and provide regular feedback, addressing any areas of underperformance.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum content and teaching strategies.
• Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering learner participation and motivation.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in teaching practices and the digital skills sector.
• Undertake regular training and professional development, including mandatory safeguarding and Prevent training.

The Person

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in ICT or a related subject.
• A teaching or training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS).
• At least GCSE Grade C in English (or equivalent).
• Experience in teaching ICT to adult learners and a strong understanding of effective teaching strategies.
• The ability to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage mixed groups of learners.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
