History Teacher Secondary School (Kensington & Chelsea)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our high-achieving Humanities department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated ECT eager to make a real impact on students understanding of historical events and critical thinking.

The Role:

• Teach History across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially KS5
• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons covering periods from ancient history to modern-day
• Encourage critical analysis, discussion, and independent thinking on historical events and their global impact
• Plan, assess, and track student progress to ensure high achievement
• Contribute to the wider school community through history clubs, trips, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching History at secondary school level
• A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
• Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress
• A passion for history education and inspiring young historians
