About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate
Occupational Therapist to join a supportive and forward-thinking
Children's Service Pathway, based at a single, well-equipped site.In this role, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention for children and young people with a range of developmental, sensory, and physical needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality, family-centred care to support children's functional independence and participation in daily life.
Key Responsibilities: - Carry out comprehensive OT assessments for children with a variety of needs (e.g. sensory processing, fine/gross motor difficulties, coordination challenges, etc.).
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with our Team and families, to support the child's development and goals.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to multi-agency reports as required.
- Support service improvement and participate in team meetings and supervision.
Requirements: - Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience working with children and young people in a clinical, educational, or community setting.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of family-centred and goal-oriented practice.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
