Amada - Press Brake Operator

HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for a leading production client. You will set up and operate Amada ( or equivalent ) CNC press brakes to form sheet metal components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Bishops Stortford CM23 near Stansted Airport ( good links to M11 )

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Amada CNC press brakes.
• Produce sheet metal parts to drawings, tolerances and quality standards.
• Work to tight deadlines, both independently and within a team.
• Carry out basic care and routine maintenance on your machine.
• Support other equipment/areas once trained during busy periods.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating and setting CNC press brakes .
• Confident reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment.
• Quality-focused, reliable and safety-conscious.

HOURS

• PM Shift rota ie 1pm + onwards Currently at peak 10hr days that will be start at 1.00 pm finishing at 11.00 pm, ( off peak is 1pm to 9pm )
• Friday is fixed 1.00 pm - 7.00 pm
• Monday-Friday
• Overtime may be required during peak periods.
