This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading entertainment business that is redefining audience engagement across digital and physical experiences. The company is investing heavily in its data capabilities and is looking for an experienced Head of Data to lead the evolution of its data platform, governance, and analytics strategy.

The Role

As Head of Data, you will own the commercial data strategy and oversee a growing team of engineers and analysts. You'll be responsible for leading the development of a centralised data platform in Google Cloud Platform, integrating data across ticketing, merchandise, digital, and hospitality channels to create a single source of truth.

You'll partner with senior stakeholders across marketing, finance, and operations to ensure the data infrastructure supports business growth and audience understanding. Alongside this, you will shape the roadmap for advanced analytics, predictive modelling, and machine learning initiatives that drive customer engagement and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and evolve the business-wide data strategy aligned with commercial goals.

  • Lead the design and scaling of the central data platform in GCP.

  • Oversee governance, compliance, and data quality frameworks.

  • Standardise reporting and insights delivery through Power BI and Omni.

  • Deploy predictive analytics models, including CLV and propensity scoring.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enable smarter use of data across digital and physical channels.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing data team.

Your Background
  • Proven experience leading data teams across engineering, analytics, and BI.

  • Strong technical understanding of modern data platforms and pipelines.

  • Skilled in stakeholder management, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Experience building predictive models or enabling ML-driven insights.

  • Background within entertainment, media, or audience-based industries is advantageous.
