Day shift Traffic OperatorShift is 7:00am to 7:00pm 4on/4off rotaStanford-Le-Hope, Essex£35,000 to £40,000 per annum DOE

The ideal candidate will come from a Groupage/Haulage background with a strong knowledge of the Logistics industry and have experience planning a fleet of vehicles for day 1 to day 2 work schedules, ideally within the container sector of the business.

Be a clear communicator, able to commit to the above hours/shift rota, have UK geographical knowledge and have worked in a similar position within the last 6months locally in Essex.

Duties & Responsibilities:• Dealing with multiple drivers• Communicating with ports• Booking delivery slots for entry in ports• Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times• Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time• Re-routing jobs as and when is needed• Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system• Speaking to customers on possible delays advising etc.
