CNC Operator Setter

All Square Recruitment are hiring a CNC Operator Setter on behalf of an employer based in Clacton, Essex.

CNC Operator Setter Duties and Responsibilities

• Machining in preparation for the manufacture, service and repair of company press tooling
• Manufacture and maintain tools, jigs, fixtures, and other components to exact specifications
• Maintain and calibrate machinery and tooling, ensuring optimal machine performance and tool accuracy
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with company health and safety procedures
• Reporting to the Tool Room Supervisor

Types of equipment you will be working with

• XYZ Mills
• Manual Mills
• Lathes
• Bridgeport CNC
• Surface Grinders

Experience required for the role

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Good problem solving skills with an analytical approach
• Understanding of Tool design and associated software packages
• Minimum 3 years CNC Operator Setter experience

Training will be provided where necessary
