We are currently recruiting a Credit Control Clerk to join our Finance team in Ashford on a Permanent basis.
As part of our central Finance function you'll support the business by managing a ledger of accounts. This is a key role focused on reconciling accounts, working closely with customers and sales teams, and ensuring timely payments to help minimise bad debt.
You’ll take a solution focused approach, resolving queries, maintaining strong relationships, and helping to keep cash flow on track, all while contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
This role is offering flexible hybrid working after the initial training period with 2-3 days based in our Ashford, Kent office for team collaboration and meetings, so you must be with in a commutable distance.
This role has a planned start date of 1 July 2026.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
About you:
This role requires no previous finance experience as training will be provided. As part of the application process, you will be asked to complete an online psychometric task, which will be sent to you by the recruitment team.
We are however looking for an individual who has the experience of working in a fast-paced environment and has an interest in Finance or Credit Control. This role will require you to work with Microsoft Excel (pivot tablet, v-lookups) so you must be confident using this programme. You’ll also be communicating with external customers and internal colleagues at all levels, so strong communication skills are essential.
