AV Technical Lead & Solutions Design Manager

Location: London (Hybrid)Salary: £50,000 - £55,:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday

A global leader in delivering bespoke audio-visual solutions for luxury retail and hospitality environments. With offices on various continents, they specialise in designing and implementing cutting-edge AV installations for some of the world's most prestigious brands.

As the Technical Lead and Solutions Design Manager, you will play a key role in leading bespoke AV and digital signage projects from concept through to delivery. You will act as the primary technical contact for UK clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining a high standard of quality.

• Lead the design and technical delivery of AV systems across retail and hospitality projects.
• Attend client meetings (both in-person and remote) to take briefs, present design concepts, and manage expectations.
• Manage and coordinate a small technical team, overseeing workload and performance.
• Collaborate with the sales team to build proposals and provide technical input during pre-sales.
• Design and implement system drawings and documentation (AutoCAD, Visio, SolidWorks).
• Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling.
• Provide on-site support for installations and technical troubleshooting when required.
• Ensure seamless communication between clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
• Deliver post-sales technical support and client handovers.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the AV industry.
• Strong background in AV systems design and/or project management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with LED displays, media players, sound systems, cabling, and bespoke retail AV solutions would be highly beneficial.
• Confident in client-facing environments and experienced in managing expectations at all stages of a project.
• Strong organisational and workload management skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, or SolidWorks (preferred).
• Ability to work away from home where required.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
• Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (40-hour week, 1-hour lunch break)
