An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically strong and commercially aware Financial Controller to join a fast-growing infrastructure business based in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for a newly qualified ACA accountant from a Top 10 firm, looking to take the next step in industry and gain exposure to a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations, including month-end close, statutory reporting, and financial controls. You'll play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver accurate and timely financial insight.
This is a hands-on role with scope to shape processes, improve reporting frameworks, and contribute to the wider growth strategy. You'll also support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA qualified with Top 10 practice training
• 1-2 years post-qualified experience in industry
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102 / IFRS)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
