Your new role

As a Senior Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in the internal finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Team Manager. You'll be responsible for a broad range of duties including month-end reporting, bank reconciliations, payroll billing, and overseeing the purchase ledger. You'll also act as a key point of contact for finance-related queries across the firm and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or working towards a recognised finance qualification)

Previous experience in an internal finance role, preferably within professional services

A good understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Confident in using Excel, with knowledge of functions such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF

Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams

A proactive mindset and the ability to manage your workload independently
