One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Communications Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.
Overview:
To support the Communications Manager to protect and improve the reputation of the council. Increase public satisfaction with the council and services through effective campaigns. Improve staff engagement levels in liaison with Communications Manager and the HR team.
Main Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the media and partner organisations to build on the council's excellent reputation.
To communicate with customer at the required level or As a customer focused role be able to communicate with our customers at the agreed level
