• Reporting to: Head of Finance
• Salary: 27k- 30k
• Type: Full-time

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Aylesbury.

• Manage the financial records and systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly and year-end accounts.
• Support strong financial controls and improve financial processes.

• Maintain financial records, including the general ledger and fixed asset register.
• Process financial transactions such as accruals, prepayments, and internal transfers.
• Reconcile accounts monthly, ensuring accurate records of payments and receipts.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statutory returns.
• Work with other teams to ensure smooth fee processing and financial management.
• Provide financial reports and guidance to budget holders for better cost management.

• Finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, AAT Level 4, or equivalent).
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and using financial systems.
• Able to start quickly
• Strong IT skills, including Excel and finance software.
• Excellent accuracy, numeracy, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
