Join our team as a Marketing Analyst for the Trans-Atlantic Westbound (TA WB) Trade. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing and communicating the Trade Policy and pricing objectives through all daily commercial activities.
- Coordinating and managing Europe Export vessel space management to ensure it aligns perfectly with the TA WB Trade Policy and business goals.
We're looking for someone who can translate high-level trade strategy into effective, real-world pricing and operational execution.
The Role
- To act as Marketing Pricing Focal Point for designated region(s) whilst demonstrating a sound awareness of the regional commodities/markets and operational infrastructure.
- The role is exclusively dealing with the Trans Atlantic Trade and therefore relevant experience in this trade is desirable.
- To perform regular structural review of regions performance against target levels & follow-up on any performance deviations.
- To work with aforementioned regions and monitor any deviations in performance.
- To be fully proficient with US FMC filing and regulatory requirements.
- Responding to rate requests in a timely fashion (within 24hrs) whilst analysing & judging business contribution in the context of current / prospected market conditions as well as Trade / region performance.
- Completing timely and accurate tender submissions demonstrating commercial awareness & sound pricing in the process.
- Complete regular KPI reports and follow up on any deviations.
- To represent the Marketing Trade team at internal & external meetings as & when required.
- To be fully proficient with all Trade Management related Opus Modules and perform timely and accurate data review. Support in the maintenance of Opus data as & when required.
- To act as the Focal Point for Space management on designated region(s) / Service(s) whilst demonstrating a sound awareness of the regional commodities/markets and operational infrastructure.
- Responsible for Laden and Empty space management ensuring that Trans Atlantic Trade achieves same in/out equipment flow and/or 100% slot utilisation on vessels as per Trade policy and in close co-ordination with Container Flow management & Yield teams.
- Prepare daily reports which facilitate the process management & optimisation of vessel allocations. For example, submit a Container Booking Forecast (CBF) to the Ship Operator.
- Co-ordinate implementation of Customer Allocation/Account Plan process and undertake performance management thereof.
