Level 2 Nursery Assistant

• Hourly Rate: £13.70 - £15.50
• Hours: Varied shifts between 7:30AM to 6:00PM
• Location: Edenbridge, Kent

• Support the delivery of creative learning activities for children, based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Assist with the planning and preparation of activities to meet children's individual needs.
• Engage in play-based activities that encourage learning and development.
• Ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
• Observe, assess, and record each child's progress, sharing outcomes with parents and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the nursery's continuous improvement.

• Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
• A valid DBS on the update service is essential.
• Experience in an early years setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• A caring and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for early years education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
