Nursery Assistant - L2 - Hourly Rate: £13.70 - £15.50

Day-to-day of the role: - Support the delivery of creative learning activities for children, based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of activities to meet children's individual needs.
- Engage in play-based activities that encourage learning and development.
- Ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
- Observe, assess, and record each child's progress, sharing outcomes with parents and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the nursery's continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
- A valid DBS on the update service is essential.
- Experience in an early years setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- A caring and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for early years education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
