Behaviour Support Worker Croydon, South LondonDo you have experience working with children/young people with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) difficulties?Remedy Education are looking for committed individuals for a specialist SEMH School based in Croydon, Crystal Palace.The role is to start as soon as possible and continue for the academic year.You will be supporting young people with additional needs, as well as displaying some challenging behaviour. You will be required to give academic support to the students and helping them show more pro social behaviours in the classroom.Behaviour Support Worker Position Details

• Full time/Part-time: Full Time
• Contract Type: Long term
• Hours: 08:30am 4pm
• The Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 - £120 per day

Behaviour Support Worker Requirements

• Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
• Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
• Experience of effectively and positively managing a class and leading learning with groups of pupils, using appropriate strategies to enable them to settle to learn.
• Specific training in interventions/SEN/SEMH.
• Team Teach training would be beneficial to this role; however, this can be provided for free.
