Research AssistantLocation: London, Kings CrossLength: Asap - December 2025Rate: £42.79 per hour (Inside IR35)Hours: 40 hours per week (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)Overview: Our client is looking for a Research assistant with 2+ years of experience prototyping and testing AI agents and/or LLM models.Role Responsibilities:

• Create test prompts for AI agent. Experiment with different prompt formulations to steer AI Agent towards ideal behavior.
• Implement and debug AI agent tool calls in a python / PHP SW stack.
• Assemble high quality prompts to create client internal benchmarks for AI agents similar to MLEBench and BFCL.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Research or prototyping experience in machine learning, deep learning, and/or natural language processing.
• Programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks such as Model Context Protocol.
• LangChain.
• Exposure to architectural patterns of large scale software applications.
• Preferred: Direct experience in generative AI and LLM research.

Must have skills:

• Python-programming
• Generative AI
• Understanding of MCP servers/LangChain
