REClifts is looking for an Engineer Surveyor of Lifts in England's North & West London!
Job Security Explained: Under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), all lifting equipment and accessories must undergo a thorough examination by a competent person. This must take place every 6 - 12 months (depending on the equipment type and utilisation).

Engineer Surveyor of Lifts - Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality inspections of various passenger lifts including Escalators, Elevators, moving walkways, Goods Lifts, Stair-lifts, etc to ensure compliance with current regulatory and statutory requirements (BS EN81-1)
• Produce comprehensive and detailed LOLER inspection reports

Commutable from: Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Edgeware, Northolt, Borehamwood, St Albans, Potters Bar.

Engineer Surveyor of Lifts - Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified NVQ 3 lift engineering discipline either service or installation or HNC/HND qualification in an Engineering discipline - Essential
• Qualified NVQ 4 Lift Testing - Desirable
• Ideally has 3 years of experience installing, testing, and inspecting various Lifts, Escalators and Travelators undertaking statutory LOLER examinations, working knowledge of LOLER / PUWER / H&S related to Passenger Lifts - Essential
• UK Driving Licence - Essential
• Hold professional status as an Engineering Technician (Eng Tech) with the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) - Desirable
• Lives a commutable distance away from North West London or willing to relocate to this area - Essential
