About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to join a leading Tier 1 fit-out contractor on a prestigious £50m Cat B fit-out project in Farringdon, London. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary of up to £85,000 plus an attractive benefits package. As the Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that the project runs smoothly, safely, and within budget. You will manage a team of on-site staff, liaise with subcontractors, and report directly to the Project Director to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day site operations for the £50m Cat B fit-out project.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Act as the main point of contact for the client and stakeholders on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
• Liaise with the Project Director and senior leadership to ensure project goals are met.
• Manage and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and meeting minutes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on large-scale fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management processes.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrable experience working with Tier 1 contractors and on high-value projects.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) are essential.
