Second in Charge (2ic) English Department

South Hampstead High School, the 2022 Independent Girls' School of the year, is seeking an exceptional, inspirational and enthusiastic English teacher to play a key role in our outstanding English Department.

You will join a team of innovative and passionate teachers, invested in ensuring positive outcomes for all students. You will be expected to assist the Head of English in the management of the department, and deputise on their behalf and will also be expected to share responsibility for activities organised by the department; such as creative writing groups and curriculum theatre trips. All staff are expected to share in pastoral and administrative duties and to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
