Maintenance Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Reading to join as a Maintenance Technician on a temporary basis and to start as soon as possible.

• Location: Reading
• Working Hours: 7AM - 3PM & 9AM - 6PM (alternating shifts)
• Job Type: Temporary position, 4-6 weeks initially with the potential to extend
• Salary: Up to £14.55 per hour

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning, basic plumbing, replacing light bulbs, basic carpentry, painting / decorating, ground maintenance, escorting contractors on site, pool maintenance.
• Ensuring gates and buildings are locked / unlocked at the start and end of the day.
• Set alarm systems and respond to emergency call outs.
• Conducting building checks.
• Maintaining general presentation of the grounds.

The successful Maintenance Technician will have the following related skills / experience:

• Experience in a similar position.
• Plumbing, carpentry, and decorating skills.
• Manual handling.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
