Pearson Whiffin have partnered with an established manufacturer based in West Kent. They are looking for a Buyer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Duties include:

• Analysing buying patterns.
• Stock management.
• Meeting with suppliers; assessing their suitability, processes and quality.
• Negotiating with suppliers (national and international).
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Reporting on vendor performance.

To be considered for this role, you must have/be:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
• A CIPS qualification would be a significant advantage.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Organised.
• A meticulous attention to detail.
