A successful multi-site freight forwarding brand seek an Air Freight Coordinator for their site at Heathrow.

The successful Freight Coordinator will have worked for a Freight Forwarder and will have working experience within Air Freight.

You will be joining a vibrant team and managing the day to day bookings of Air Freight shipments.

The Package

35K - 40K - depending on experience
4on 4off shift - Days
22 days holiday plus banks
Company pension
7am-7pm

The Air Freight Coordinator Role:

Manage the day to day bookings of worldwide Air freight shipments
Customs entries
Invoice jobs on completion
Extensive supplier liaison and negotiation
Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service status information
Raising job files and all of the appropriate paperwork
Process the jobs utilising the in-house software system

The Operations Coordinator Requirements:

MUST have Air freight experience, with an Import or Export bias
Previous working experience within a Freight Forwarder
Experience of calculating freight quotations and rate negotiations
An excellent communicator both written and verbally
Excellent IT skills
