Nursery Practitioner Hertfordshire ASAP Start £13.69-£15.87 per hour

Reeson Education is recruiting for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established nursery in Hertfordshire. This Nursery Practitioner role is perfect for someone who is dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for young children in a nurturing, supportive environment.

The Role: As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll be working with children aged 0-5 years, supporting their care and development through engaging, play-based learning. This Nursery Practitioner position involves working flexible shifts, helping children develop essential skills while building warm relationships with families and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality care and education for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children
• Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support children's development across all areas of the EYFS
• Supporting children with additional needs or developmental delays
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and the nursery team
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Observing and recording children's progress to inform planning

What We're Looking For:

• Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare (essential)
• Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner in a nursery or childcare setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• A warm, caring approach with excellent communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
• Desirable: Paediatric First Aid qualification, experience with SEN, or knowledge of Makaton
