Leading specialists in electrical engineering and power system maintenance is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide a safe and successful delivery of works whilst managing a team. The Electrical Engineer will be a qualified electrical engineer, have proven experience in the sector, working knowledge of HV & LV, and good team management skills. In addition the Electrical Engineer will need to have IOSH, first-aid certification, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee the successful and efficient execution of works
- Ensure all works are carried out safely, correctly, and cost-effectively
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and on-site safety assessments, briefing working parties
- Undertake and manage electrical engineering works
- Comply with Health & Safety Policy and procedures
- Delegate tasks and ensure team compliance with safety and operational protocols
- Highlight defects and liaise with CRS to facilitate swift resolutions, offering technical support
- Attend and complete any required training courses
- Liaise with clients on-site, ensuring clear communication, requirement fulfilment, and cost adjustments
- Collect and verify all paperwork for prompt client delivery
- Participate in job reviews to identify improvements in quality and profitability
- Manage suppliers, subcontractors, and materials effectively
- Assist clients and CRS with technical queries and troubleshooting
- Plan and organise work schedules efficiently, ensuring full team preparedness
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
- Electrical Engineering background (HNC or equivalent experience)
- Have Senior Authorised Person Certification, IOSH Managing Safely and First Aid certification
- Strong people management, communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Good commercial awareness, ability to follow instructions and problem solve effectively
- Working knowledge of HV & LV Maintenance and Jointing
- PTL Competency Certificate: Up to & including SAP2 as a minimum
- Good IT skills

Salary: £55,000 to £66,000 DOE
