Family Time SupervisorLocation: BarnetContract: Initial 3 monthsHours: 36 hours per weekPay: £17 per hour (umbrella) (£13 PAYE an hour)Barnet Council is seeking a Family Time Supervisor to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to children, young people, and families in the borough.About the Role:As a Family Time Supervisor, you will ensure families are welcomed and supported when attending the Family Resource Centre, in community settings, and other appropriate venues. You will provide a caring and flexible approach towards children, parents, and extended family members, helping to make Family Time a safe, positive, and supportive experience.Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring children and young people are safe and their emotional wellbeing is prioritised
• Supporting parents to maintain positive relationships with their children
• Providing practical and emotional support, helping parents build trust and confidence
• Supervising contact sessions, including sibling and extended family time
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
