Financial Data Analyst- Private Credit data

Our client, a leading organization in finance, technology and financial news sector, is looking for a diligent and highly motivated individual to join their dynamic team. This is a 12- month temporary contract with an immediate start date and would suit a candidate with a strong analytical mind and a demonstrable interest in financial markets.

You will be supporting the procurement, review, and updating of private credit loan and bond data. The role will involve leveraging web crawler outputs, reviewing public documentation, and manually extracting information where needed, as well as conducting targeted outreach to market participants to fill data gaps and validate data points.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial markets, especially Fixed Income and Private Credit. They should be proficient in client engagement and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement, review, and maintenance of private credit loan and bond data.
  • Drive data acquisition through automated tools (web crawlers), public sources, and manual research when required.
  • Conduct outreach to market participants to close data gaps and validate critical information.
  • Collaborate across Data, Engineering, and Client-Facing teams to align priorities and ensure seamless integration into our technical pipeline.
  • Deliver high-quality, complete datasets under tight deadlines, supporting business-critical initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Ability to research, analyse, and validate information from multiple sources
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
  • Proficiency in client engagement and relationship management
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, especially Fixed Income and Private Credit
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with an ownership mindset
