Depot Supervisor

Our client is a family run business are a national supplier of catering products to the food wholesalers with heritage dating almost 100 years and are keen to employ service leavers and veterans.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Haddenham for a Driving Depot Supervisor. The Depot Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the depot with the Depot Manager, ensuring efficient and timely processing of orders, inventory management, and coordination with logistics teams. This role involves managing staff schedules, training team members, maintaining safety protocols, and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure a smooth workflow. The Depot Supervisor will also monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency. As a driving Depot Supervisor in addition to the supervisory role, you will be required to drive company vehicle and conduct deliveries to our customers.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience but not essential in inventory management and warehouse operations
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly and efficiently
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Must have a clean Class 2 HGV license with a in date DCPC.
• A Forklift license would desirable but not essential

Pay: £16 per hour, 48hrs guaranteed. £39,936 yearly.

Location: Haddenham near Thame and Aylesbury.
