Warehouse Operations Transport Assistant Nights - Part Time

As a Warehouse Operations Transport Assistant within the Aldi Distribution Centre, you'll play a key role in ensuring our stock is dispatched to stores efficiently, safely, and on time. Your role will directly support the smooth running of the transport team, working collaboratively with drivers, transport management, and other warehouse teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:•Load Planning & Checks: Coordinating the loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring all stock matches and is ready for dispatch. This involves checking manifests, verifying paperwork, and managing any discrepancies with the transport team.•Trailer Readiness: Preparing trailers, managing safety protocols, and ensuring correct loading or unloading.•Health & Safety Focus: Always working to maintain a safe working environment by following Aldi's high standards and processes.About You:We're looking for someone who is organized, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will:•Have a proactive attitude and work well in a team environment.•Be flexible with shift patterns, including nights and weekends.•Be detail-oriented to ensure stock accuracy and compliance with store orders.•Have a strong understanding of health and safety in a warehouse or transport environment.•Ideally have prior experience in logistics, transport, or a similar warehouse role (though this isn't essential - we provide full training).
