Salary: £12.25 - £12.45 per hour

Location: Central Bedfordshire - mainly Dunstable and Houghton Regis

Hours: Flexible shifts - Morning and Evenings available; 15 - 20 hours per week

Are you passionate about providing high-quality care to those in need Our client is looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join their team and make a positive impact on the lives of their service users in Dunstable and Houghton Regis.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of their clients Care at Home service. You will assist other staff members in delivering care that upholds their high standards of service towards service users, their relatives, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualised care and support to service users in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for service users and staff.
• Monitor service users' health conditions and report any changes to the senior in charge.
• Assist in personal hygiene, grooming, and other daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
• Participate in social activities to enhance the quality of life for their service users.

Ideal Candidate:

• Currently holding or working towards an NVQ level 2 qualification in Direct Care.
• Experience working with older people and a genuine willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Strong communication skills to engage with service users and report effectively to senior staff.
• Ability to work flexibly across morning and evening shifts.
• Compassionate, patient, and with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• Adept at maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.
