TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation. They are expanding and are looking for Grounds Ecology Maintenance Manager join their team covering Kent, Hampshire and Sussex with a salary up to £50,000 per annum.
Your duties will consist of being responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Grounds maintenance & ecology. Budget & Capital Working requirements (c£4m+), Contractual deliverables and Service Delivery.
The scope of services covers PPM, Reactive & Remedial works for Grounds Maintenance, Minor Civils (i.e. potholes, line marking etc), Audits Compliance assurance as outlined within the Contract. It is also expected that you will support the Project delivery requirements across the Contract as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a healthy business relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure all Grounds Maintenance Environmental operational, safety, people and financial targets/ forecasts are achieved across the contract and where necessary develop detailed recovery plans to address underperformance.
- Resource Management effective fulfilment of 3rd Party Suppliers and Contract Support Teams to ensure Services are successfully delivered
- Effectively manage Grounds & Environment WIP, issues, escalations and resolutions with and between all stakeholders
- Design & manage Audit programmes and working with teams to achieve conformance.
- Will be required to be part of the Contract management on call escalation via the Out of Hours Rota
- Continuously drive continuous improvement programmes to improve performance; also promoting and deploying technologies and initiatives that support a sustainable and energy/carbon friendly environment.
- Where required, timely submissions of MI, Reports, Quotes and Risk Registers.
- Upkeep of the PPM/Site Schedules Registers and ensuring visits/schedules are maintained, monitored and relevant systems are accurate at all times in accordance with the agreed registers.
- Develops, recommends, implements standard operating procedures and policies to economise service delivery across your span of responsibility while increasing productivity.
- Oversees the performance of 3rd Party Suppliers
- Ecology, integrating eco-friendly practices into this everyday operation to promote nature, and enhance biodiversity.
- Manage INNS Plans (Invasive Non-native Species
- Filter Beds & DAMS
- Management of all non-conformances (NCR s) across your area of responsibility.
Skills/Experience/Experience
- Experience working with National or Local Utilities or critical environments.
- Continuous Improvement training to support formal methodologies and techniques.
- Contract management experience (incl 3rd party suppliers)
- Degree / NVQ Level 3+ Leadership (or equivalent)
- Proficient in the use of CAFM systems, Power BI, SAP, Excel, Visio, SharePoint and various other software systems.
- Formal membership of an Industry Body within the FM environments and or exposure to BS370
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Experience in ecology, biodiversity
