Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 12:00pm

Are you an experienced First Article Inspector looking to join a leading aerospace manufacturer? Syntech Recruitment is working with a globally renowned aerospace company near Uxbridge, looking for a skilled First Article Inspector to support their high-quality production processes.

First Article Inspector Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with QPM requirements.
  
  
• Complete all inspection and FAIRs for high-quality aerospace components.
  
  
• Review and verify that all First Article Inspections (FAI) meet QAI-148 / AS9102 standards.
  
  
• Sign off reports and archive documentation correctly.
  
  
• Drive improvements in FAI processes to exceed industry standards.
  
  
• Support additional FAI inspection activities as required.
  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• Manufacturing/Engineering background, preferably in aerospace.
  
  
• Strong experience in inspection and quality assurance.
  
  
• Expert knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection processes.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  
  
• Skilled in using inspection tools and Microsoft Office applications.
