Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager working with a fit-out contractor in Central London who specialise in high end retail fit outs / refurbishments.

The Projects are varied from 500k fit out projects to larger 12m projects. You will be required to look after one large project or several smaller projects. You will be responsible for managing the site and will have full autonomy over site operations.

You will be reporting to the Contracts Manager and Director. The role will involve a mix of working on site (2 days a week), Head Office (2 days a week) and Home (1 day a week)

The project manager is required to initially back up 4-5 site teams while tendering for new projects and getting involved in existing tenders / mid tender interviews, the role will be client facing. The contractor also requires a project manager who is competent in programming of works with either ASTA or MS Projects.

The ideal Project Manager must have:

• Have high end Retail experience
• Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
• Have experience in delivering high end retail fit outs
• Major experience in managing multiple sites or large fit out projects 10m +
• Understanding of programmes and ability to write programmes with ASTA or MS Projects
• Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Project Manager on commercial projects
• Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
