International Manager

Our client is dedicated to breaking the link between family income and academic achievement.
They do this by supporting schools, colleges, and nurseries to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence. They generate research evidence on effective practice in supporting learning outcomes and narrowing the socioeconomic attainment gap, and they work with professionals to ensure this evidence is applied to achieve the maximum possible benefit for children and young people.
They are now looking for an International Manager to join them on a full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract basis, working from their London office on a hybrid basis (a minimum of one day per week in the office).

The Role
As an International Manager, you will foster key relationships that align with our client's charitable mission and contribute to their sustainability.
Specifically, you will support international partnerships through liaison, contract management, and quality assurance, while also contributing to wider international initiatives by presenting their model and advocating for evidence-informed learning.
Working closely with teams across the organisation, you will share expertise and help partner organisations learn from their approaches.
Additionally, you will:
- Contribute to their international strategy
- Co-ordinate events and peer-learning activities for international partners
- Represent the organisation on international visits and deliver presentations on their model
About You
To be considered as an International Manager, you will need:
- At least two years' experience in the learning, government, development, or charity sectors
- Experience managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A successful track record of negotiation and partnership development
- Knowledge of research and evaluation methodologies in academia
- An interest in social mobility and academia's role in reducing global inequalities
- A degree in a relevant field
