We're looking for a Senior Events Account Manager to join a busy and collaborative team working across medical accounts. You'll be the go-to for planning and delivering a variety of healthcare-related events - from advisory boards and internal meetings to international congress activity - while keeping everything on track and ensuring excellent client service throughout.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing the full lifecycle of UK and international events, both in-person and virtual
- Leading on venue sourcing, speaker logistics, delegate management, budgeting and supplier liaison
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their goals
- Ensuring all event elements are fully compliant with industry codes (e.g., ABPI, EFPIA)
- Overseeing on-site delivery and handling post-event reporting and audits
- Collaborating closely with account teams and supporting on new business proposals
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years' experience working on pharmaceutical events - this is essential
- Confident project management skills and strong attention to detail
- Clear, friendly communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Good understanding of compliance and pharmaceutical industry regulations
- Experience using registration platforms (e.g., Cvent)
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to travel internationally and work onsite at events
