Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (45 hours per week contract)

A fully staffed private household in Central London is seeking a reliable and proactive Kitchen Porter to join the team. This role requires someone hands-on, hardworking, and flexible, with the ability to support the wider household team beyond the kitchen when needed (e.g., handling deliveries, assisting housekeeping).

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, pantry, and back-of-house areas

- Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment to a high standard

- Support chefs with basic food preparation and mise-en-place

- Monitor stock of cleaning materials and report when supplies are low

- Handle deliveries, unpack and store goods correctly

- Assist with rubbish and recycling management

- Provide occasional support to other household staff (errands, moving furniture, light maintenance tasks)

- Follow household protocols, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and discretion

Candidate Requirements:

- Previous experience in a kitchen porter, stewarding, or housekeeping role preferred (private household experience an advantage)

- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude

- Flexible, with willingness to support across different areas of the household

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a fully staffed team

- Reliable, punctual, and discreet

Hours & Compensation

- 45 hours per week, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday

- Salary: £45K gpa
