Housing Support Worker

Temporary 1-2 monthsBased in Milton KeynesHousing Support WorkerMonday - Friday A great opportunity to support a local charity that work with homeless people. A short term assignment whilst our client recruit permanently for this role. Part of a small, supportive and friendly team offering emotional, mental support to ensure the wellbeing of MK residence. Experience within housing, or as a social worker is essential you will be responsible for ensuring all residence and the full needs and support.

• Provide a responsive service to homeless people, assist with housing and benefit documentation
• Review risk assessments, crisis management assessments, cover H&S for all sites in MK
• Manage maintenance requirements, action accordingly any repairs required
• Contribute to ensuring the support services are managed, assist residences with budget plans
• Knowledge of the benefits system
• Experience of housing management, connecting with housing teams
• Collaborate with support groups to support with finding employment for residence
