Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias or 50/50

Location: IP12Salary: £40,000 - £42,000Shift Pattern: Rotating Days (covering 6:00am - 8:00pm)

An established manufacturing business based in IP12 is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer with either an electrical bias or a strong 50/50 electrical/mechanical background.

This is a key site-based role supporting production through planned and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery

  • Electrical fault finding on motors, sensors, inverters, and control systems

  • Mechanical work including bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and pneumatics

  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects

  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

  • Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship)

  • Electrical bias maintenance engineer or strong 50/50 multi-skilled background

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment

  • Confident fault finding under pressure

  • Flexible to work rotating day shifts covering a 6am-8pm operation
