We are seeking to appoint a caring and empathetic Welfare Assistant to join our friendly team and manage all aspects of first aid and pupil welfare in our welcoming primary school.

This is a maternity cover position for a fixed term of 9 months in the first instance, with the possibility of extension should the need arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and medical support to pupils and staff.
• Administer and maintain individual medical plans.
• Accurately log and report all first aid incidents and accidents.
• Be a reassuring and compassionate presence for children who are unwell or injured.

What We're Looking For:

• A warm, empathetic, and organised individual who can prioritise effectively.
• A valid 3-day First Aid qualification (or willingness to train/update).
• Someone who enjoys working with children and thrives in a school environment.
