About the Role
A dedicated Teacher of English is required for a September start, with the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated English specialist to contribute to high quality teaching and learning within a supportive and ambitious environment.
You will play a key role in delivering engaging English lessons, raising attainment, and inspiring students across Key Stages. If you are driven, enthusiastic and committed to making a meaningful impact on student progress, this role offers an exciting next step in your teaching career.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high quality English teaching across Key Stages
• Plan, prepare and assess engaging and challenging lessons
• Contribute to curriculum development within the English department
• Support students of all abilities to make strong progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice
• Participate in whole school initiatives and improvement strategies
• Take on additional responsibilities where applicable (potential TLR)
Person Specification
Essential:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in English
• Ability to inspire and motivate students
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high standards
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Passion for delivering high quality teaching and learning
