Duke of St Albans in Gospel Oak is looking for a bar supervisor.

Grace Land is a medium sized group of pubs and bars and a brewery. Our
other sites are: The Black Heart, The Earl of Essex, The Axe (N16),
Red Hand, The Bethnal Green Tavern and Saint Monday

Duke of St Albans has a casual high-quality food menu, accompanied by 6 cask
lines, and 16 keg lines of the best beer we can get our hands on, including a
smattering of our own beer from Saint Monday. Low intervention wines, small batch
spirits, and a small selection of simple but well-executed cocktails will also feature. There is also a nice coffee offering and breakfast/brunch service. We do table service for Sundays, when we deliver a banging Sunday Roast.

Supervisors open and close the business, run shifts, and do some paperwork and cellar stuff. Key is coaching the team on shift and leading from the front to engage with a wide range of customers with all the lovely beer we have on offer.

Whist hospitality experience is required for this role, we encourage people from outside the pub and craft beer world to come and work with us too. We are very happy to train people and welcome people from all backgrounds. We offer plenty of external training opportunities as well as in house stuff, and as part of a smallish group there is plenty of opportunity for extra hours at other sites and career development within the company.
