Long Term Futures is seeking a confident and academically strong KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Year 5 and Year 6, with a particular focus on SEND support and SATs preparation. This role is ideal for someone who can combine targeted academic intervention with patient, structured support for pupils who require additional guidance.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced KS2 TA or a graduate looking to gain upper KS2 experience in a focused and supportive school environment.

About the RoleWorking closely with class teachers and the SENCo, your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis Delivering targeted SATs interventions in reading, SPaG and maths Reinforcing core skills through structured booster sessions Adapting learning materials to suit individual needs Supporting pupils' confidence, focus and exam readiness Monitoring progress and feeding back to teaching staffThe role requires strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to maintain high expectations while providing calm, consistent support.
