Our client a well known Insurance and Investment company are currently looking to hire an Asset / Property Manager to manage a high-end residential project.

Title: Asset / Property ManagerLocation: London - Hybrid 2 Days per week on-siteDuration: 12 months, potentially to 18 months or beyond.Day Rate: Competitive - Inside IR35 (via Umbrella Company)Description:

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience of working "client side" whilst making a significant impact on the management of a high-profile property. The successful candidate will demonstrate strategic oversight, commercial acumen, and the ability to deliver practical solutions in a challenging environment.

Key Objectives:

  • Maximise the recovery of service charge and utilities arrears in a timely and cost-effective manner and reduce ongoing arrears to a manageable level.
  • Recover costs from relevant third parties efficiently.
  • Mitigate risks associated with RTM claims.
  • Protect and enhance the value of the landlord's interest in the property.

  4. Arrears Recovery
  5. Other Dispute Resolution
  6. Right to Manage (RTM) Claims
  7. Strategic Oversight:

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Asset Management / Property Management - particularly with High-End Residential Properties.
  • Strong understanding of Service Charge and Utilities Recovery and Property Management processes.
  • Financial analysis skills, particularly interpretation of service charges accounts and liaising with accounts teams.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage several different workstreams at the same time.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive leaseholder interactions and report to senior stakeholders.
  • Commercially focused decision-making skills, with a strategic and results-driven approach.
  • Experience in instructing and managing external professional advisors, including solicitors, and managing external spend efficiently.
  • Ability to manage complex disputes and achieve cost-effective resolutions.
  • Quantity Surveyor Qualified or Background a nice to have.
