Are you an ambitious MFL Teacher ready to join a school where languages are genuinely valued?

Are you an ECT looking for exceptional mentorship and structured support - or an experienced practitioner seeking a high-performing department with real academic momentum?

KPI Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Islington to appoint a French & Spanish Teacher to join their thriving Modern Foreign Languages department.

Why This School?

This is a school with a clear academic identity. GCSE results consistently sit above national averages, and the uptake for languages at KS4 is strong - a rare and encouraging sign of the department's success. A-Level provision in both French and Spanish continues to grow, with students progressing to Russell Group universities each year.

Behaviour across the school is calm and purposeful. The senior leadership team have embedded consistent systems that allow teachers to focus on high-quality teaching rather than low-level disruption. Staff retention is strong - a testament to the supportive culture and genuine investment in professional development.

The MFL department itself is collaborative, well-led and ambitious. Schemes of work are thoughtfully sequenced, and shared planning ensures workload is manageable. Regular departmental CPD focuses on curriculum refinement, retrieval practice and speaking confidence strategies.
