Workshop - Plant Fitter - Great Dunmow, Essex

This company provides winch related parts, services and repairs across the UK and overseas. The position is primarily workshop based but some on-site work and driving duties may also be involved from time to time.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintenance, repair, testing and inspection of mechanical and powered plant - cable winches/cable drum trailers
• Some on-site work and driving duties from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience of winches, hoists and cable drum trailers will be a real advantage but is not essential however, you will need a good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrics in other powered plant.
• You should ideally have prior experience in the Plant Hire industry and understand the demands of this sector.
• Backgrounds in agricultural equipment, motor mechanics (commercial vehicles), trailers or lifting equipment will also be considered.
