Looking for a mechanical supervisor to work on a commercial project

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team for an exciting new commercial development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building systems) for a commercial project.
- Coordinate daily activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications.
- Lead and manage the mechanical team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Review mechanical drawings, project specifications, and site conditions to ensure proper implementation of mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Liaise with other supervisors, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of all trades and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Ensure that all mechanical work is completed on time and within budget.
- Resolve technical and logistical issues related to mechanical systems on-site.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role within the commercial construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, project specifications, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with managing teams and contractors to ensure effective collaboration and timely completion of tasks.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical engineering certifications).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.
- Ability to work on-site and manage mechanical installations from start to finish.
