Berry Recruitment is urgently looking for 7.5 tonne drivers in Stevenage.
Pay £14.10 an hour
Working Pattern - 4 days in following by 4 days off - including weekend work.
Working Hours - 6:30am start until finish
Location - Stevenage
Day to Day
- To safely deliver, install and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions and Cookers in our customers property
- Engaging with customers, keeping them informed and ensuring their delivery and our installation is carried out to the highest standard following best practice guidance
- To maintain regular contact with your site throughout the day to meet any changes to a customer delivery request, discussing and escalating unplanned issues, seeking guidance and adapting as necessary
- To ensure the handheld operating device (Savvy) is always used correctly by completing visits and obtaining customer signatures
- To liaise with Manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessary
- To handle all products safely and with care, supporting your colleagues to do the same
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the role
- To ensure you follow continuous professional development, maintaining your driving license and ensuring required training and knowledge is kept up to date
Experience
- Takes responsibility for own learning and help us become the home for the best talent
- Previous experience driving a 7.5t vehicle or meet criteria to train toward license (e.g., 6 months experience of driving a 3.5T vehicle with no driver blameworthy accidents and no more than 3 new points)
- Ability to use initiative to problem solve in a timely and calm manner to ensure both business and customer needs are satisfied
Qualifications
- A Full UK/EU C1 driving license (with a maximum of 6 penalty point), or meet criteria to work towards license
- Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence Qualification (DCPC)
- Driver Qualification Card (DQC) - Desirable
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
