CAD Engineer - Power Services

As a CAD Design Engineer at AVK, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical control panel designs that meet customer specifications and project requirements. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires a customer-focused, self-motivated professional who can manage multiple projects concurrently while working within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed EPLAN/AutoCAD drawings for bespoke and complex electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

• Ensure designs adhere to UK standards, industry regulations, and best practices.

• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, design submissions, and project documentation.

• Generate cable termination sheets from design drawings to provide clear and accurate information for project execution.

• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless design implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
• Qualification in Design or equivalent field.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
