Main Responsibilities

As the in-branch Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker, your core duties include:

• Providing whole-of-market mortgage advice to new and existing clients
• Delivering protection advice covering life insurance, critical illness, and income protection
• Conducting thorough fact finds and affordability assessments
• Managing a growing pipeline and ensuring timely case progression
• Collaborating closely with estate agency staff to maximise lead conversion
• Meeting compliance and FCA standards at all times

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker role, you will need:

• CeMAP (or equivalent) - essential
• Proven experience offering regulated mortgage advice
• Track record of working in a sales-focused, target-driven environment
• Strong understanding of the mortgage market, lender criteria, and protection policies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A client-focused, professional and ethical approach
